What a weekend: I'm still recovering, but wanted to say that Airecon was absolute rollicking good fun!
We had a Lich King turning a Ghoul Assassin into a Toad! We had a Troll Warrior disguised as the Cabbage King and chasing terrified Formorians into the Sea! We had an Elf Scout/Sprite Thief Good cop/Bad cop duo investigating the shenanigans of a renegade Leprechaun! And much more besides...
Three different adventures over six sessions, 24 different players and one returning player, every session played and run on schedule, everyone at the table getting involved, and a Good Time Had By All.
It was really rewarding to see how different players responded to the game and to the scenarios I threw at them. It was gratifying to find that I had put in about enough prep, and was able to keep my head in one piece for the whole weekend. I'm also very grateful to Airecon for being such supportive and generous hosts, and most of all to all my lovely players, who were the nicest bunch of people you could want to play with. Some turned up because they had been wanting to try out TARPG, some because they loved the boardgame, some because everything else had been booked - but they all brought their A-game to the table and we had some very memorable sessions. Love this game!
